| Category 6, Whiteh a bandwidth of 250 MHz, can be used for 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps Ethernet networks, up to a maximum length of 100 metres. Ten Gigabit Ethernet can be used for a maximum length of 55 metres. When the cables are bundled, because of alien crosstalk, the maximum length is only 37 metres. These data networks are, besides Ethernet, also applicable in many other protocols, such as analogue telephone, ISDN, ATM, Token Ring and RS-232 up to a maximum length of 100 metres. |
